The agency reported that Enaba transformed his restaurant into a pleasant community place thanks to his culinary creativity, which blends Syrian flavors with Egyptian hospitality, which won the admiration of local gourmets.
Anba, 32 years old, said, with a sparkle of pride shining in his eyes: “I always dreamed of owning a place of my own. It is a great blessing to see my dream come true in Egypt.”
It is worth noting that Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham launched a major military operation from northern Syria on November 27, headed south, and seized the capital, Damascus, to overthrow the government of former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad within 12 days.
After the recent shift in power in Syria, Enaba began to feel the attraction of his city, Aleppo. But the middle-aged man has already begun to build a life rooted in Egypt, which he cherishes, according to the agency.
Anba confirmed: “This is my home now.” I built a life and a future here.”
However, his heart remains tied to Syria, and he imagines a day when he can contribute to its revival by opening a branch of his restaurant in Aleppo when the situation becomes more stable. span>
Enba stressed: “I want to be part of the solution to restore jobs and hope to my people.” To achieve this, Enba plans to divide his time between Egypt and Syria, nurturing his business and contributing to both societies at the same time.
Anba expressed his gratitude to Egypt, saying: "Egypt has given me a lot, but I also want to give to Syria. span>
The agency highlighted Enba’s astonishment at the generosity of the Egyptian people when he first set foot in Egypt, where the Egyptians provided him with shelter and guidance.< /span>
Anba recalled: “I was overwhelmed by their kindness and they made me feel like I was among my family.” I quickly found work, and thanks to the support of the local community and government services, I was able to start my own restaurant.”
Anba said that he cherishes the friendships he has established with his Egyptian colleagues and clients, as they exchange laughs and stories while eating hot shawarma dishes, and he stated seriously: “I will never forget what the Egyptian people did for me.”< /span>

But the recent developments in Syria brought to mind his dream of returning to his beloved hometown of Damascus.

Imagine "Khaled" Himself as he walks the familiar streets, inhaling the intimate scents of spices and jasmine, embracing his family after years of separation, and helping to rebuild his war-torn city.< /span>
