6.6 million taxi users in Ajman during the first quarter of 2026

The Ajman Transport Authority recorded an increase in the number of taxi users during the first quarter of 2026, as the number of passengers reached 6,644,536 users, compared to 6,293,538 users during the same period in 2025, an increase of 350,998 users, with a growth rate of about 5.6%.

The Executive Director of the Public Transport and Licensing Agency, Engineer Sami Ali Al-Jallaf, confirmed that this growth reflects the increasing level of demand for taxi services in the emirate, and confirms the efficiency of operational readiness that the Authority is keen to enhance, in order to keep pace with the needs of customers and contribute to providing safe and reliable transportation services.

He pointed out that the Authority is continuing its efforts to develop the transportation system and improve the customer experience, by improving the quality of services and expanding the scope of smart solutions, in a way that supports the flow of transportation and enhances the quality of life in the Emirate of Ajman.
