The President awards the President of the Association of Women and Indigenous Peoples in Chad the “Zayed II Medal, First Class”

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, awarded the Zayed II Order, First Class, to Her Excellency Hendo Oumarou Ibrahim, President of the Association of Women and Indigenous Peoples in Chad, in appreciation of her outstanding contributions to the success of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Climate Change. COP28, which was hosted by the UAE late last year.
His Excellency Rashid Saeed Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Chad, handed over the medal to His Excellency Hindo Ibrahim, who expressed her deep thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” for this honor. She also praised the “historic UAE agreement” that It was reached during the “COP28” conference and has become a reference framework for climate action and global sustainability.
His Excellency Al Shamsi congratulated Her Excellency on this medal, praising the Republic of Chad’s participation in the “COP28” conference and its support for the “Historic UAE Agreement,” which puts the world on the correct climate action path and enhances cooperation and collective action to preserve humanity and planet Earth.
