The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended the trading session higher by 28.77 points, or 0.1%, to reach 43,325.80 points.
The broader Standard & Poor’s 500 index fell 2.45 points, or 0.04%, to 6,037.59 points.

The Nasdaq Composite Index of technology stocks lost 10.77 points, or 0.1%, to 19,764.89 points.

Analysts explained to the Artificial Logistics platform that there are several key elements that will shape the performance of the stock market in 2025.
Global economic recovery expectations in 2025
They added that there is a post-pandemic global economic recovery in which the global economy is expected to fully recover from the economic disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic by 2025, however, different regions may witness recovery at different rates.
They point out that emerging markets may face challenges such as political instability and continuing supply chain problems, while advanced economies may return to their pre-pandemic levels of growth.
There are also expectations that the pace of recovery in the United States, Europe, China and India will have a significant impact on global market trends.
