A successful conclusion to the Arab Cycling Championship in Cairo

The competitions of the thirteenth Arab track cycling championship, which was held in Cairo during the period from December 25 to 28, concluded today at the Cairo International Stadium track.

 

The Egyptian team was crowned champion of the championship after harvest  A gold, silver and bronze medal, while the UAE team came in second.

 

The tournament received praise from the participating delegations for the good organization and warm reception they found on Egyptian soil, in addition to the bike track’s compliance with international standards.

 

The tournament witnessed the participation of 9 countries: Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Tunisia, Algeria, the Emirates, Morocco, and Sudan, in addition to The Egyptian national team is the host of the tournament.

 

Ayman Ali Hassan heads the tournament’s supreme committee, Ahmed Mostafa holds the position of tournament director, and Maryam Azzam holds the position of deputy tournament director and chairs the technical and referees committees.

Mohamed Ibrahim, the technical director of the national teams, announced the list of men’s, women’s and youth teams participating in the Arab Championship. The men’s team list includes: Youssef Zaki, Mahmoud Bakr, and Ahmed Saeed  Omar Al-Saeed, Hussein Nasser, and Mahmoud Sobhi. While the women’s national team list includes:

Ibtisam Zayed, including Allah Fathi and Alalia Ben Bella  May Ashraf and Habiba Osama.

 

The youth team is represented by: Mohamed Ayman, Mohamed Abdel Hamid, Adham Abdel Moneim, Yassin Mustafa, Mustafa Issa, and Youssef Wael  And Hamza Adel

 

The technical staff of the Egyptian national team consists of  Mohamed Ibrahim as technical director, and Mohamed Farrag  Mohamed Abdel Razek is a coach and Mohamed Fathi are coaches  The duo: Sherif Abdel Halim and Ahmed Moussa, mechanical technicians, and Ahmed Naguib, a masseur and physical therapist.
