Sharjah Police announces its plan to welcome the new year

The Sharjah Police General Command, represented by the General Department of Operations and Security Support, announced its full readiness to welcome the new Gregorian year 2025, through a comprehensive traffic security plan to enhance the quality of life and achieve the highest levels of security and safety in the emirate.

Brigadier General Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al-Naour, Director General of Operations and Security Support, said that the security plan includes intensifying security and traffic patrols in all areas of the emirate, with a focus on vital sites and areas of major events and celebrations and launching fireworks at Al-Hira Corniche, Buhaira Corniche, Khor Fakkan Corniche, and public facilities. And monitoring the crossing of vehicles on external roads, to ensure the smooth flow of traffic, protect lives and property, and achieve the highest levels of security and safety for all.

He stressed that Sharjah Police is harnessing all its resources and the latest smart technologies to support traffic security operations, including advanced monitoring and communication systems, with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of rapid response to emergency situations around the clock, in addition to close coordination with the strategic partners, which are the Sharjah City Municipality, the Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority, and the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority.
