Abu Dhabi, December 29 / WAM / The Al Mankos Studio program offers a distinct artistic experience during which the ancient melody of Al Mankos meets many modern arts.
The Mankos Studio is part of the activities of the Mankos Program, organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, as part of its continued keenness to introduce popular heritage and enhance its role in building national identity.
Yesterday, the artist Farid Sultan participated in the second episode of Al-Mankos Studio with a unique artistic experience, where the art of Al-Mankos was combined with a famous Iraqi heritage song, with the participation of the stars of the second evening of the Al-Mankos program (Salem Ali Al Hadban Al-Ajami from Kuwait, Salim bin Kadah Al-Rashidi from the Emirates, Wetheb Saleh Al Marri, Ayed Al Farea Al Obaidi, Ali Muhammad Waza Al Qahtani, and Mutaib bin Muhammad Al Saiyari, from Saudi Arabia), to produce an amazing artistic painting. It combined tradition with modernity, accompanied by the melodies of oriental musical instruments.
At nine o’clock tomorrow evening, the third live broadcast episode of the Al-Mankos program in its fourth season, organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, will be shown, with the participation of 6 stars competing to perform the Al-Mankos melody on the Al Raha Beach Theater in Abu Dhabi.
The results of the judging committee’s grades in the second direct episode resulted in Theeb Saleh Al-Marri from Saudi Arabia qualifying after obtaining 59 marks, followed by Ali Muhammad Waza’ Al-Qahtani from Saudi Arabia with 56 marks, ensuring both of them move directly to the next stage.
As for the rest of the contestants, their results were close, as Ayed Al-Farea Al-Obaidi and Mutaib Muhammad Al-Sayari from Saudi Arabia obtained 55 degrees, and Saleem bin Kadah Al-Rashidi from the Emirates obtained 54 degrees, while Salem Ali Al Hadban Al-Ajami from Kuwait obtained 53 degrees.
The public vote via the Al Mankos program website and application will be decisive in the qualification of two contestants who were unable to qualify directly, as the public will have the opportunity to support their favorite stars to ensure they continue in the competition.
