The Italian Foreign Ministry announces the restoration of its official website after a cyber attack
The Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Taiani, announced that the official website of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has returned to full operation after a cyber attack it was exposed to yesterday.
The Italian Foreign Minister explained – in a statement today, Sunday, published by the Ministry Through her account on the “X” platform – Access to all IP addresses has been restored, including those located outside Italy, stressing the continued strengthening of security measures for the systems, and providing the Italian Foreign Ministry with increasingly effective tools to confront current cyber challenges.
The Italian government has confirmed the work. To strengthen security against cyber attacks after it said that “a pro-Russian group launched an attack on the Milan airport website and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the third cyber attack in three days”
