Cuba is on the verge of falling

Trump’s statements come a week after Washington announced that it had arrested Maduro during a military operation it carried out in Caracas that resulted in the killing of dozens of Venezuelans and members of the Cuban security forces.

The US President had previously said a week ago that Cuba "About to fall"pointing to the worsening economic crisis there, and the difficulty of Havana’s survival without Venezuelan oil, which is largely subsidized.

Trump commented on the post, saying: "This sounds good to me"

Security services for Maduro

In another message shortly after that, Trump said: "Cuba lived for many years on large amounts of oil and money from Venezuela, and in return, it provided security services to the last two Venezuelan dictators, but not anymore.".

He pointed out that "Most of those Cubans were killed in the US attack last week, and Venezuela no longer needs protection from the mobs and extortionists who have held Venezuelans hostage for many years.".
