The Bahrain General and Bahrain Islamic indices closed higher

The Bahrain General Index closed today at the level of 1,985.91, an increase of 0.94 points above the previous closing rate, due to an increase in the index of the communications sector, the financial sector, and the industrial sector. While the Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 779.85, an increase of 0.48 points from its previous closing rate. The quantity of shares traded today reached 454,446 shares, with a total value of 335,475 Bahraini dinars, which were executed through 56 transactions. Investors’ activity in trading focused on shares of the basic materials sector, as the value of its traded shares amounted to 77.70% of the total value of securities traded.
