With a video filmed by Prince Harry… Meghan Markle returns to Instagram

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has officially returned to Instagram, announcing the beginning of a new chapter on the platform with the opening of a new account on New Year’s Day.

Markle posted on her new account a video clip taken by her husband, Prince Harry, on the beach near their home in Montecito, California.

Markle (43 years old) appears in the video wearing all white clothes, running barefoot towards the waves, while her back is to the camera. She stops to trace “2025” in the sand before laughing and running away.

Although Markle turned off the comments feature on the post, she received likes from famous friends, including Serena Williams, Chrissy Teigen, and Tan France.

In August 2023, Page Six reported that Markle had been given the name “@meghan” for her return on Instagram, and the account had 113,000 followers when she posted the beach video, although she did not follow any accounts herself.

Her black and white selfie shows her smiling with her hair down.

In a previous interview with “The Cut” magazine, Markle revealed her return to the platform, saying: “Do you want to know a secret? I will return… to Instagram.” (Russia Today)
