The year 2024 did not want to leave without saying goodbye to two of those who made history in Egyptian art, as they immortalized their names in letters of gold, namely the legend of the popular song, Ahmed Adawiya, and the screenwriter who had a great influence on Egyptian cinema, the writer Bashir Al-Deek, after a struggle with illness. It continued for years, as they both launched at the end of the seventies, and led a movement of change and rebellion in music and cinema.

Al-Taweel, Ammar Al-Shari’i, Sayed Makkawi, and poets such as Abdul Rahman Al-Abnoudi and Mamoun El-Shenawy.
He was adopted on the radio to open the door to a generation of popular song stars who considered him their godfather. Although he stopped due to illness in the nineties, he would from time to time participate in duets with young stars such as “Al-Nas”. He turned to literature before starting his first film, “With Premeditation.” With director Ashraf Fahmy, he subsequently presented a large collection of the most important films of the eighties and nineties, which numbered more than 50 films, some of which were chosen among the 100 best films in the history of Egyptian cinema.
