Imad Ramadan is the first champion of special needs to assume the presidency of the Paralympic Volleyball Federation

The elections of the Egyptian Paralympic Volleyball Federation resulted in the election of Imad Mahmoud Ramadan as Chairman of the Federation’s Board of Directors, to be the first president of the Federation to be a champion with disabilities. Imad Ramadan is a former player in the national sitting volleyball team. He excelled in the administrative corps starting from assuming the position Director of the national team, through his work in the African Volleyball Confederation, his membership in the Board of Directors of the Paralympic Committee, and then assuming the position of treasurer of the committee in the last session, and Imad Ramadan played the most prominent and largest role in establishing the Egyptian Paralympic Volleyball Federation. He is considered the most prominent advocate of empowering people with disabilities, whether at the local level with the Paralympic Committee and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, or at the international level, as he demanded during the General Assembly meeting of the International Paralympic Committee that there be a specific percentage for the presence of people with disabilities on the boards of directors of the local and regional committees and the International Paralympic Committee.< /p>
