Saqr Ghobash discusses with the Speaker of the Jordanian Senate to strengthen parliamentary relations

Rabat, April 29/ WAM/ His Excellency Saqr Ghobash, President of the Federal National Council, during his meeting with His Excellency Faisal Al-Fayez, President of the Jordanian Senate on the sidelines of the work of the third session of the Parliamentary Dialogue Forum between South-South countries, held in the Moroccan capital Rabat, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation relations and issues of common concern, and enhance them at various levels, reflecting the vision and directions of the leaders of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
During the meeting, which was attended by His Excellency Saeed Rashid Al -Abedi, a member of the Federal National Council and His Excellency Tariq Ahmed Al Marzouqi, Assistant Secretary -General for the Presidency of the Council, the overall conditions in the region were reviewed, and everything that would increase coordination and cooperation between the two brotherly countries, in addition to continuing bilateral efforts to face the security and political challenges facing the Arab nation and the return of stability and security for the region.
His Excellency Saqr Ghobash affirmed the UAE’s pride in its historical relations with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which is based on mutual respect, and to serve the interests of the two brotherly countries and the issues of our just nation, expressing the common concern to strengthen it in various fields.
He stressed the importance of enhancing parliamentary cooperation relations, exchanging parliamentary experiences, and benefiting from the leading experience of the two councils in the field of legislative jurisdiction.
For his part, His Excellency Faisal Al -Fayez stressed the strength of brotherly relations between the two countries based on fixed and firm foundations and mutual respect, noting that the two countries’ leadership are keen to strengthen them in various political, economic and parliamentary fields.
