A lawsuit is filed against Nicki Minaj on charges of beating her manager…and the police request an arrest warrant

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that Detroit State Police have sent a warrant request to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, now under review, to determine whether to issue criminal charges against Nicki Minaj.
This comes against the backdrop of a lawsuit filed by her former manager on her “Pink Friday 2” world tour, called Brandon Garrett, on charges of assault and battery.
The website stated that Brandon Garrett, a man who claims to have managed Minaj’s business, filed a lawsuit against the singer due to the assault incident that took place between them in Detroit in April 2024.
Jarrett claims Nicky repeatedly told him his “life is over” before hitting him in the face and slapping him on the wrist, causing the documents to fall out of his hand.
So, he sued Nikki for assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, seeking damages.
Currently, the lawsuit filed by her former manager Minaj is under intense scrutiny, as it falls to the prosecutor to decide whether to file charges.
In a statement to the Daily Mail, Nicki Minaj’s lawyer, Judd Borstein, denied the allegations in the lawsuit, calling them “false and frivolous.”
