The mother is the first teacher… who creates the beginning… and charts the path

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, directed the Community Development Authority to adopt the title “Generation Maker” instead of “Housewife” in conjunction with International Mother’s Day.

His Highness said through his official account on the “X” platform: “The mother is the first teacher… and she is the one who creates the beginning… and charts the path… and instills in her children the meaning of belonging and responsibility… and the meaning of them being worthy of their nation’s trust.”


His Highness continued, saying: “Today, we directed the Community Development Authority to adopt the title “Generation Maker” instead of “Housewife” in conjunction with International Mother’s Day, in appreciation of her role, which cannot be done justice by words… nor can it be summed up by names… She is the maker of people… and the maker of values… and the maker of the future.”


His Highness added: “Happy New Year to our mothers… and every year, they are the foundation of all goodness.”
