المملكة: KAUST launches its training programs for the year 2025. Know the specializations
It targets a number of vital specializations, including artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, and renewable energy.
KAUST training programs
These programs also target more than 1,500 male and female students from various Saudi universities, namely King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Jazan University, King Abdulaziz University and Umm Al-Qura University.
As well as, King Khalid University, Tabuk University, Taibah University, Qassim University, Princess Noura bint Abdul Rahman University, Al-Faisal University, and King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.
These programs were designed to meet the needs and circumstances of students from various regions of the Kingdom in cooperation with strategic partners, in addition to cooperation with the National Program for Information Technology Development and the Al-Aqeel Charitable Foundation in the field of artificial intelligence and bioinformatics.
KAUST Student Initiatives
While the university cooperated with the King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy and the Women and Energy Association, in the field of renewable energy.
These initiatives are part of KAUST’s efforts to develop human capabilities and provide generations with the necessary knowledge and skills in the fields of advanced technology, in accordance with the latest international practices.
These programs aim to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, by building a strong scientific base that contributes to the development of the knowledge economy.

About two weeks ago, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) held its fifteenth graduation ceremony, honoring 465 male and female graduates, including 203 Saudis, which is a record number.
This achievement came just one week after KAUST was named the best Arab university for the second year in a row by the Times Higher Education rankings.
The KAUST Class of 2024 represented a milestone, with a 13% increase in the total number of Saudi graduates and a 29% increase in the number of Saudi female graduates compared to last year.
Both are the highest in the university’s history, and this diverse class proudly represents 46 countries, highlighting KAUST’s global appeal and its comprehensive and distinguished academic community.
The graduating class recorded unprecedented standards, as the number of Saudi graduates reached an all-time high, including 108 Saudi female graduates, an increase of 29% compared to 2023.
