المملكة: Registration is open for the 4th batch of the Entertainment Leaders and Fellowship programs

The General Entertainment Authority (GEA) announced the opening of registration for the fourth batch of the “Entertainment Leaders” and “Entertainment Fellowship” programs.
This is part of the “Happiness Makers” initiative, with the aim of enhancing leadership capabilities and empowering national competencies in the entertainment sector.

Leaders and Recreation Fellows programs

The “Entertainment Leaders” program, which will be launched next May, is one of the most prominent programs that focuses on developing the leadership level through cooperation with international bodies in the field of leadership development.
It aims to enhance skills and knowledge, and transfer best international practices. The program also includes international visits to exchange experiences and workshops with prestigious training bodies.
It contributes to preparing sector leaders by strengthening social and cognitive networks.

Specialized development paths

The “Entertainment Fellowship” program, which will be launched next April, seeks to enable the sector to implement specialized development paths, targeting employees who have at least two years of experience in the entertainment sector.
The program focuses on enhancing skills and expanding professional networks, in addition to transferring international expertise through visits to global destinations and workshops under the supervision of the best trainers.

The Entertainment Leaders and Entertainment Fellows programs cover multiple areas, including entertainment experience design and operational health and safety at events.
This enhances the sector’s readiness to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in developing the entertainment industry and enhancing the Kingdom’s role as a leading center in entertainment at the regional and global levels.

Happiness Makers Initiative

In 2021, the General Entertainment Authority launched the Happiness Makers Initiative, which specializes in qualifying, training and developing human resources in the entertainment sector.
It is considered one of the vital and promising sectors in the Kingdom, and it contains various training, rehabilitation and development programmes, to enhance the entertainment sector industry and support more than 100,000 young men and women.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), Counselor Turki bin Abdul Mohsen Al Sheikh, announced that the 2024 Riyadh Season has achieved a new achievement, with the number of visitors reaching 13 million visitors.
This clearly confirms the great success and remarkable public turnout enjoyed by this global event.
