Dow Jones declines.. US stock indices close mixed
Major US stock indices closed mixed at the end of trading on Monday.
The Industrial Standard ended the trading session down by 25.57 points, or 0.1%, to reach 42,706.56 points.
The broader Standard & Poor’s 500 index added 32.91 points, or 0.6%, to reach 5975.38 points.
The Nasdaq Composite Index for technology stocks increased 243.30 points, or 1.2%, to 19,864.98 points.
