"Ghantoot Club" Organizes a charity polo match for the Red Crescent
ABU DHABI, 8 JANUARY / WAM / The Ghantoot Horse Racing and Polo Club announced the organization of the annual community charity polo match, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Falah bin Zayed, President of the Club, on January 11, with the proceeds being directed to the benefit of the Emirates Red Crescent, specifically the orphan section.
The club confirmed that the match comes within the framework of its charitable and humanitarian community initiatives, which it is keen to organize under the direct guidance of His Highness the Club President, noting that this match is one of the preparatory matches for the start of the Gold Medal Polo Championship, which the club is organizing during the period from January 13 to 18, at level 4. -6 Hand Cup, which precedes the Emirates International Polo Championship as part of the club’s annual program, during the period from January 27th until next February 8th at the “8 – 10 Hand Cup” level.
The organizing committee, headed by Mr. Khaled Saeed Al Marzouqi, Managing Director and Executive Director of the club, has completed the program, which begins with receiving families and visitors, and includes various activities such as horse riding, children’s theater games, etc., then the charity polo match between “White and Red,” and ends with crowning and honoring the participants.
