المملكة: Weather condition on Friday: rain in parts of 10 regions

The National Center of Meteorology announced the expected weather conditions for today, Friday, in the Kingdom.
According to the meteorological statement, moderate to heavy thunderstorms are expected, leading to torrential rains in parts of the Al-Baha and Makkah regions.

Kingdom weather

Rain will also be light to moderate in parts of the regions of Jazan, Asir, Riyadh, Medina, Hail, the northern border and Al-Jawf.
The rain extends to parts of the Tabuk region, and light snow is not ruled out on its highlands (Jabal al-Lawz – Alqan – Al-Dhahr).
The opportunity is ripe for fog to form over parts of those areas as well as over parts of the Eastern and Qassim regions.

Red Sea

Surface winds will be northeasterly to northwesterly at a speed of 15-30 km/h in the northern and central parts, and southeasterly to southwesterly at a speed of 20-40 km/h in the southern part, reaching more than 50 km/h with the formation of rain thunderclouds.
The wave height will range from one to two metres, reaching more than two and a half metres, with the formation of rainy thunderclouds
While the sea condition is light to medium, the waves reach wavy with the formation of thunderstorms and rain clouds.

Arabian Gulf

Surface winds will be northwesterly at a speed of 15-30 km/h.
The wave height ranges from half a meter to one and a half metres. Sea condition: light to medium waves.
