BEIJING, 10 JANUARY / WAM / The Chinese civil aviation sector recorded strong growth during the year 2024, with the total volume of transport reaching 148.52 billion ton-kilometres, an increase of 25% compared to the previous year, while the number of passengers increased to 730 million people, an increase of 17.9%, and the volume of freight reached Air and postal: 8.98 million tons-kilometres, an increase of 22.1%.
