With a magnitude of 6.2, an earthquake strikes southwest Mexico

A 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck southwest Mexico today.
The US Geological Survey reported in a statement that the epicenter of the earthquake occurred at a depth of 86.2 kilometers and close to the town of Cualcoman de Vasquez Palares, which is inhabited by about 20,000 people and is located about 600 kilometers west of the capital, Mexico.
She added that the earthquake did not result in loss of life or damage to property.

Ethiopia earthquake

An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale struck Ethiopia yesterday, with no reports of casualties.
The German Geological Sciences Research Center stated that the earthquake shook east of the capital, Addis Ababa, early yesterday morning, and was at a depth of ten kilometers.
