Opening of a new two-lane bridge on Sheikh Rashid Road in Dubai

The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai opened the second bridge as part of the fourth phase of the Al Shindagha Axis Development Project, and it serves traffic coming from the intersection of Al Mina Street with Sheikh Rashid Street, and heading to the intersection of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Street with Sheikh Rashid Street.

The length of the bridge is 605 meters, with a capacity of two lanes, and a capacity of 3,200 vehicles per hour. The fourth phase includes the implementation of four bridges with a length of 3.1 kilometers, with a capacity of 19,400 vehicles per hour for all lanes.

It is planned, during the second quarter of this year, to complete the implementation of the other bridge, which will serve traffic coming from Al Mina Street and heading to the intersection of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street with Sheikh Rashid Street, with a length of 1,210 metres, with a capacity of three lanes and a capacity of 4,800 vehicles per hour, and completion.
