An important victory for Dubai Basketball over Baskonia in the European League
Sarajevo, 13 March / WAM / The Dubai Basketball team achieved an important victory over its Spanish counterpart, Baskonia, with a score of 100-94, in the match that brought them together yesterday evening in the 31st round of the European Basketball League “EuroLeague” competition at the “Zitra” hall in Sarajevo, amid a large crowd.
The Dubai team thus raised its tally to 16 victories in the competition, bringing it close to entering the top ten in the rankings.
Dwayne Bacon topped Dubai’s scorers list with 23 points, while Mfiondu Kabingeli added 17 points.
The Dubai Basketball team is scheduled to meet in its next match with Serbian Red Star on March 15 in the Adriatic Club Association (ABA) League, before resuming its campaign in the European League by facing Partizan away from home.
