26 members of the second batch of “Nafes Leaders”

Today, the Emirates Competitiveness Council launched the second batch of the “Nafes Leaders” program, in partnership with the UAE Government Leadership Program in the Prime Minister’s Office at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, as part of its ongoing efforts to empower Emirati leaders and enhance their role in the private and banking sector.

Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, Director General of the Prime Minister’s Office, stressed that investing in the Emirati human being represents the most important focus of the directives of the wise leadership, which believes that building human beings is the foundation of building nations, noting that qualified, empowered national cadres In various fields, it constitutes the engine and driving force for sustaining prosperity and development and enhancing the global leadership of the UAE.

The scholars said that the Nafes Leadership Program plays a fundamental role in supporting efforts to improve the competitiveness of national cadres and qualify them to lead the next stage in the financial and business sector, which reinforces the government’s directions to motivate Emirati talents to work in the private sector, engage in entrepreneurship experiences, and participate in developing the financial sector. And the banker, praising the positive results achieved by the program in its first batch.

For his part, Ghannam Butti Al Mazrouei, Secretary-General of the Emirates Competitiveness Council, stressed the importance of the “Nafes Leadership” program in building a new generation of national leaders, noting that the program translates the directives of the wise leadership aimed at enhancing the participation of Emirati competencies in vital sectors, and providing them with future skills that It enables it to lead economic development, and hone its talent to lead and develop the private sector with high efficiency, with the aim of enhancing its competitiveness and consolidating its position on the global stage.
Al Mazrouei added that the experience of the first batch of the Nafis Leadership Program was exceptional and successful by all standards, as the participants were able to engage in rich practical experiences with experts. The program also included local and international field visits, and work was done to develop the leadership skills of the participants through a group of interactive workshops and field visits. Adding that the second batch will continue to build on this success by providing more advanced training content, in line with the “We Are the Emirates 2031” vision.

In its second batch, the Nafis Leadership Program includes 26 members, and continues for a period of six months during which participants complete more than 160 hours of training, including advanced communication skills, dealing with media, technology and artificial intelligence. It also includes an international study trip and meeting with national leaders during which they learn the arts of leading institutional change. , negotiation and influence, in addition to the research graduation project.

The program focuses on developing modern leadership skills among young people working in the private sector, and encouraging their culture of innovative thinking, with the aim of enabling them to manage teams effectively and enhancing their abilities to make strategic decisions and deal with challenges efficiently and effectively.

The program works to enhance the exchange of knowledge and successful experiences in various sectors and levels through training content and interactive workshops, in addition to field visits to the best institutions inside and outside the country, and applying the latest technologies and methods in business management through discussions, training, exposure to best practices, and innovative research graduation projects.
