ABU DHABI, 13 JANUARY / WAM / The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology participates in the activities of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2025, which is held under the slogan “Integration of Sectors for a Sustainable Future,” as the Ministry focuses on promoting the “Make in the Emirates” initiative, and its main role in supporting sustainability efforts in the industrial sector. And inviting companies to the fourth edition of the “Make in the Emirates Forum”, scheduled to be held next May 19-22 at the ADNEC Center Abu Dhabi, which is the largest and most widespread edition.

This participation is in line with the objectives of the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology – the 300 Billion Project -, as well as the programmes, plans and initiatives adopted by the Ministry to support and enhance growth, competitiveness and industrial sustainability, the most prominent of which are the “Make in the Emirates” initiative, the National Content Program, the Technological Transformation Program, and the Technological Transformation Index. Industrial, to support the flexibility and sustainability of supply chains, and achieve local self-sufficiency, especially in vital and priority industries.

During the participation, the Ministry’s work teams will present the capabilities and opportunities provided by the “Make in the Emirates” initiative, to create an appropriate and attractive business environment for local and international investors in the industrial sector, and to enhance the role of advanced technology in developing industries, protecting the environment, promoting innovation, and the quality infrastructure system from Technical specifications, standards and regulations that support sustainability and rationalization of energy consumption in the industrial sector.

The Ministry focuses on enhancing the role of the industrial sector, empowering industrial companies with competitive financing capabilities, and adopting solutions and applications of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, to enhance productivity and energy efficiency, improve operational performance and sustainability in industrial companies, support the competitive capabilities of these companies at the regional and international levels, and invite companies to participate in The fourth edition of the “Make in the Emirates Forum”, scheduled to be held from May 19 to 22 next at the ADNEC Center Abu Dhabi, is the largest, most widespread and influential edition in the Forum’s history.

The Ministry’s platform displays innovative products for leading companies in the UAE, the most prominent of which are the Export Trading Group, the Desert Board Company, the Emirates Flat Glass Company, the Fine Holding Group, the Union Copper Company, the British Levidian Company, and the Al Masaood Energy Company, as these products focus on consolidating efforts to restore Recycling and sustainability in industrial production, and the experience of these companies in these fields, which is a pioneering experience that the UAE seeks to support by raising the efficiency of energy consumption and adopting advanced technology solutions to reduce emissions and improve operational performance. industrial facilities and promoting sustainable practices.
