The UAE adopted a comprehensive dialogue approach to enhance its regional and international contribution

Saqr Ghobash, President of the Federal National Council, stressed that international changes and the achievement of national interests are inseparable from the active contribution to the stability of the international system and the consolidation of its political, economic, social and intellectual balances.

Ghobash pointed out that the United Arab Emirates, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, adopted the comprehensive dialogue approach to enhance its contribution to its regional and international surroundings, and the formulation of partnerships that serve mutual interests in a world that intersects and shares challenges and opportunities.

This came in the speech of Saqr Ghobash during the work of the third session of the Southern Parliamentary Dialogue Forum – which is held under the auspices of King Mohammed VI, the monarch of the sisterly Kingdom of Morocco, and organized by the Moroccan House of Advisors in cooperation with the Association of Senate and Shura Councils and similar councils in Africa and the Arab world “Sika”, at the headquarters of the Council in the Moroccan capital Rabat, under the slogan: New challenges for international cooperation, achieving peace, security, stability and joint development.

The delegation of the Emirati parliamentary Division, which included Saeed Rashid Al -Abedi, Aisha Khamis Al -Dhanhani, and the victim of Salem Al -Menhali, members of the Federal National Council, and Tariq Ahmed Al Marzouqi, Assistant Secretary -General for the Presidency of the Council.

Saqr Ghobash emphasized that the UAE has elevated intellectual and religious dialogue as a civilized message, a cultural choice and an existential necessity that enhances the unity of humanity in its common destiny, pointing to leading Emirati initiatives, including the “human brother’s document” and “the house of the Abrahamic family”.

Ghobash added that the UAE has made political and diplomatic dialogue a tool to formulate understandings and a window of wise will to achieve peace, based on its belief that the purpose of dialogue is building an international space with mutual respect and the common future for all.

He said that the UAE adopted the approach of economic dialogue based on fair partnerships, responsible openness and transfer of knowledge in a way that enhances sustainable development and serves joint progress, adding that the UAE has established its global position as a center for digital innovation and knowledge -based economy, and it embraced international partnerships in the fields of renewable energy and advanced digital technologies, to confirm that dialogue in various dimensions represents a state philosophy and a civilized tool to build a world More balanced and prosperous.

He pointed out that the countries of the south need to reformulate their development strategies and build digital economies capable of innovation, flexibility and competitiveness, to be a major actor in the accelerated international transformation equations and data.

Ghobash stressed the importance of the forum as a platform for exchanging experiences and addressing challenges from the cultural and developmental context of the countries of the southern themselves, stressing that the parliaments of the South countries have a historical opportunity to consolidate the “South-South Dialogue” and redefine cooperation between them on the basis of strategic integration, by launching institutional mechanisms for parliamentary dialogue between them, enhancing economic and commercial cooperation, creating technological and cognitive partnerships that enable The South countries are to achieve greater independence in facing future challenges, as well as focusing on human development and education as the basis of knowledge.

He explained that the world is witnessing during this contract, fundamental transformations that go beyond the rearrangement of the balance of power to affect the concepts of sovereignty, development and international cooperation, noting that the global system is no longer fixed, but rather a entity that is constantly changing under the influence of the digital revolution, artificial intelligence, climate change, and the transition of economic weight centers to new regions and the growing role of major companies, which established a new concept in international relations based on polarity, and opens to states that are opposed to as opportunities.
