Agreement between Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat"Hajj Saudi Arabia"

Abu Dhabi, January 14 / WAM / The General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, signed a cooperation and coordination agreement regarding arrangements for Hajj affairs for the next season 1446 AH for the pilgrims of the UAE during their performance of rituals.
The agreement was signed by His Excellency Dr. Omar Habtoor Al-Darai, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, and His Excellency Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, Minister of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Al-Darai said that the signing of this agreement comes within the framework of the Authority’s continuous endeavor to improve the services provided to the country’s pilgrims, in accordance with the best practices and standards in the Hajj system and program, and as a translation of the directives and vision of the wise leadership and its interest in the country’s pilgrims and its keenness to provide them with all amenities and enable them to perform the Hajj with ease and reassurance. Through the continuous support of the Authority in all its affairs and following up on their conditions inside and outside the country.
This agreement aims to strengthen cooperation frameworks to facilitate the entry and exit of the country’s pilgrims to the Kingdom through all crossings and coordination between the two sides in various fields, enabling the Pilgrims Affairs Office to provide services to the country’s pilgrims in the Holy Sites and provide them with all amenities.
The signing was attended by His Excellency Nasser bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Consul General of the UAE in Jeddah, His Excellency Abdullah Khalifa Yaroof Al Saboosi, Head of the Islamic Affairs Department in Sharjah, His Excellency Ahmed Rashid Al Neyadi, Director General of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, and His Excellency Muhammad Musabih Ali, Executive Director. For the Charitable Work Sector at the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai.
