The “Meteorology Forum,” organized by the National Center of Meteorology in partnership with the Ministry of Education, continued its work in Taif Governorate, in the presence of security and safety officials in schools, educational leaders, and male and female students. With the aim of enhancing awareness of the dangers of weather phenomena and raising the level of preparedness to face climate challenges.
The forum witnessed a review of main topics related to the role of schools in enhancing school safety, a discussion of optimal response mechanisms to severe weather events, and the importance of awareness of weather and climate risks.

The discussions also touched on innovative educational initiatives that contribute to raising the level of meteorological awareness, and efforts to enhance the readiness of school facilities to confront climate change.
