Al-Azhar Al-Sharif welcomes the ceasefire in Gaza

Al-Azhar Al-Sharif welcomed the cessation of the aggression against Gaza, praising the steadfastness of the proud Palestinian people, their loyalty to their land and their clinging to the soil of their homeland, and the valor of children, women, the elderly and the youth in defending their homeland despite the hideous terrorism they were exposed to, devoid of all teachings of religion and morals.

In its statement last night, Al-Azhar praised the efforts of Egypt and Qatar to stop the aggression, calling on all honorable people in the world to mobilize relief efforts to support the Palestinian people, by quickly sending medical relief convoys and humanitarian aid, and taking all measures to quickly rescue the wounded and injured.

Al-Azhar confirmed the rehabilitation of all its hospitals and placed them on readiness to receive the wounded, and their readiness to deal with critical cases, in addition to intensifying its relief convoys through the Zakat and Charity House as part of Egyptian efforts to support the Palestinian people.
