Among them is Tom Hanks.. The homes of celebrities and businessmen survived the Los Angeles fires

Among the rubble left by the fires in Los Angeles, some of the houses that survived stand tall, just as they did not suffer what happened to the rest of the houses and the homes around them, with charcoal and complete burning.
The most famous of these homes that survived the massive California fires, which still extend to this day, is Tom Hanks’ mansion in Pacific Palisades, where the famous actor’s house appeared to be standing, while the houses above and below it burned.
His mansion is located on a rocky cliff, and is worth $26 million. He is said to have bought it with his wife, Rita Wilson, in 2010.

Homes that survived the Los Angeles fires

Not only Tom Hanks’ mansion survived, but another house escaped the massive fires that destroyed the green and dry land in the American state of California.
This house is owned by American businessman David Steiner, and is worth $9 million in Malibu. It consists of 3 floors.
Steiner revealed that he bought this house in 2015 and does not live in it permanently, according to statements to ABC.

He explained that the secret of the house remaining intact has to do with the wonderful architecture, the brave firefighters and perhaps a little miracle, as he described it, and he also confirmed that the “concrete design” of the house helped it survive.
The Los Angeles fire broke out on January 7, and strong winds and dry weather contributed to its rapid spread.
The fire consumed more than 16 thousand hectares and destroyed more than 12.3 thousand buildings, while 24 people were reported killed.

Los Angeles wind forecast

Firefighting teams finally began to make progress, a week after the start of wildfires in the Los Angeles area, as local authorities announced that firefighting teams had contained the Eaton fire near Pasadena by about 50%.
This fire claimed the lives of 17 people out of 25 deaths confirmed by local authorities so far, while local authorities said that the Palisades fire, which spread over a large area on the western edge of Los Angeles, had barely spread in recent days.
With wind speeds decreasing and temperatures dropping, weather forecasts for the coming days give reason to hope that the most difficult phase of the emergency may be over.
