The patrols of the security regiments in Al-Ardha Governorate in the Jazan region arrested a citizen for transporting in his vehicle (14) violators of the border security system of Ethiopian nationality.
They were stopped and legal measures were taken against them, and the violators were referred to the competent authority, and then to the Public Prosecution.

Application of sanctions

The Ministry of the Interior’s Agency for Security Forces Affairs confirmed that anyone who facilitates the entry of violators of the border security system into the Kingdom, or transports them within it, or provides them with shelter, or provides them with any assistance or service in any way, exposes himself to penalties of up to (15) years in prison. A fine of up to one million riyals, confiscation of the means of transportation and housing used for shelter, in addition to defamation of him.

She explained that this crime is considered a major crime that requires arrest, and is against honor and trust, urging people to report violators of residency, work, and border security regulations by calling the numbers (911) in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Riyadh, and Al-Sharqiya, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the regions.
