The world’s elite horses are intensifying their preparations for "Dubai World Cup Evening"

DUBAI, March 23 / WAM / The Japanese horse “Forever Young” takes the lead in the preparations for the Dubai World Cup Race 1, as he returns to the Meydan track accompanied by his trainer Yoshito Yahagi and jockey Ryusei Sakai, in preparation for his participation in the thirtieth edition of the race with a prize of $12 million, as he seeks to write history as the highest-grossing horse in the world, in addition to making up for his third place in last year’s edition.
The horse performed a light exercise this morning on the sand track led by Yuki Araki, while his trainer confirmed his readiness, at a time when “Hit Show,” “Walk of Stars,” and “Imperial Emperor” were also participating from last year’s edition, amid assurances of their readiness to compete.
In the $6 million Dubai Shaima Classic race, Irish trainer Willie Mullins seeks to achieve an exceptional achievement by combining his Cheltenham Festival victories with the race title, through the horse “Ethical Diamond”, winner of the Breeders’ Cup Turf, who has shown outstanding readiness since his arrival in Dubai, while “Calandagan” aspires to overcome a difficult statistical record and achieve the title after his previous participation.
The “Dubai Turf” race witnesses the return of the horse “Factor Cheval” for a third attempt, after his previous victory, as he showed good readiness in training, alongside prominent competitors such as “Fort George” and “Northern Champion”, who are continuing their preparations according to the specified program.
In the “Dubai Golden Shaheen” race, the horse “Tuz” is looking forward to regaining the title after being crowned in 2024, as his trainer, Popat Simar, confirmed that he has reached his best condition, in addition to the participation of other horses from the same stable, while the “Al Quoz Sprint” race witnesses a remarkable readiness of a number of European horses, most notably “Montel” and “Raifka.”
In the Emirates Derby, Brotherly Love seeks to continue his brilliance after winning the Road to the Kentucky Derby, while jockey Saffy Osborne aspires to record a historic achievement as the first female jockey to win the evening, amid a strong participation of Japanese horses.
In the “Dubai Gold Cup” race, the participating horses, led by “Al-Nayer”, showed high readiness after a series of successful training, while the “Godolphin Mile” race witnesses a record participation of one trainer with six horses led by “Commissioner King.”
As for the “Dubai Kahaila Classic”, the “First Classes” champion returns to defend his title after his last victory in Saudi Arabia, where his coach, Doug Watson, confirmed his full readiness and his quest to win the title for the third time.
These intensive preparations confirm the high readiness of the various participants, as the world’s elite horses compete for the titles of the Dubai World Cup evening, which is one of the most prominent and expensive horse races in the world.
