Saudi Arabia: BSF shares rise after executing a special deal

The shares of Banque Saudi Fransi, known as BSF, which is listed and traded on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), rose after executing a special deal on its shares, in the middle of trading on Thursday.

The stock rose by 0.25%, trading at 16.12 riyals per share.

Banque Saudi Fransi also announced the implementation of a special deal on its shares at a price of 16.04 riyals per share, amounting to 8.02 million riyals, with the size of the deal reaching 500 thousand shares.

Private deals are those that are executed based on an agreement between investors on specific securities at a specific price.

Special deals affect trading volumes and values.

Trading in BSF shares at that time amounted to 863,191 thousand shares, with a trading value approaching 14 million riyals.

The highest price per share at that time was 16.18 riyals, while the lowest price per share was 16 riyals.

Banque Saudi Fransi had recorded an increase in profits by 0.9% on an annual basis, recording profits worth 3.43 billion riyals, during the first 9 months of last year 2024.

While Banque Saudi Fransi achieved profits amounting to 3.4 billion riyals, during the same period of the previous year, 2023.
