Dubai Chambers is looking in Manila to develop the movement of investments between the emirate and the Philippines

Dubai, April 18 / WAM / Dubai Chambers discussed with Philippine economic and commercial entities ways to develop the movement of investments between the emirate and the Philippines, and opportunities for cooperation in facilitating trade and enhancing investments across strategic sectors, including artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and smart cities.
This came during a visit by a Dubai Chamber delegation headed by His Excellency Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah, Director General of Dubai Chambers, to the Philippine capital, Manila. He held a meeting with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the participation of Ferdinand A. Ferrer, President of the Chamber, met with Donald Lim, President of the Management Association of the Philippines.
Members of the Association’s Board of Governors participated in the meeting, along with representatives of its International Trade, Tourism and Investments Committee, in addition to a number of former presidents of the organization. Opportunities for cooperation in various economic fields were discussed.
During the visit, Dubai Chambers held meetings with major Filipino companies to showcase the emirate’s investment advantages, especially in the digital economy sector, real estate investment, and the retail sector.
His Excellency Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah stressed Dubai Chambers’ keenness to expand the level of cooperation between the business communities in Dubai and the Philippines, and to explore new opportunities for joint work in priority sectors, pointing out that the delegation’s meetings in Manila reflected a joint commitment to enhancing aspects of cooperation and building stronger ties between leading institutions and the private sector, in a way that supports achieving sustainable economic growth.
