Five shots from the fifth edition of the Joy Awards ceremony

The fifth edition awards ceremony “Joy Awards 2025” kicked off yesterday evening, Saturday. In the Saudi capital, Riyadh, in an entertainment artistic event that celebrates artistic people from the world of cinema, drama, and music, in addition to sports and Arab influencers.

 

A large group of the most important male and female stars in the Arab world and the world attended during the ceremony. Who flocked to the lavender carpet in front of the photographers’ lenses, showing off their charming looks 

The ceremony witnessed many snapshots that topped the search engines. Including 

1. Ramez Jalal’s prank  Ramez Jalal appeared on stage in disguise   To present the award for the best musical artistic personality, he carried out a prank in the audience, where he dressed as an Indian singer, performed an Indian song, then removed his chin and hair to reveal his face, to the great astonishment of the audience, and received warm applause from them.

2 Abdullah Al-Ruwaished’s crutch. Kuwaiti artist Abdullah Al-Ruwaished received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Honoring Al-Ruwaished witnessed emotional moments, as the audience stood while the Kuwaiti artist  was ascending to the "anb" stage. Arena, leaning on a crutch, surrounded by Salem Al-Hindi, Rabeh Saqr, and Aseel Abu Bakr.

The “Arab Artist” took Muhammad Abdo Beida, while receiving the honor, while he seemed deeply affected amidst the applause of the audience, and the appearance of “Al-Ruwaished” This concert is his first after his health illness that he suffered at the beginning of last year, after which he traveled to Germany to receive treatment on a trip that lasted for 6 months.

3. Karim Abdel Aziz honors his father  Artist Karim Abdel Aziz presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to his father, the great director Mohamed Abdel Aziz, amid warm applause from the audience. Karim expressed his extreme pride in his father and his long artistic career, saying that his father represents a source of inspiration and support for him throughout his life.

For his part, director Mohamed Abdel Aziz expressed his great pride in this honor, noting that it carries special value because it came From the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which he described as a holy place for which he has all the love and appreciation.

Abdel Aziz said in his speech: “This award today is not for myself only, but it is a tribute to all Egyptian art.” He also thanked his son Karim Abdel Aziz and his wife, stressing that they were an integral part of his long artistic journey.

4.Saudi barefoot boxing  Saudi boxer Hattan Al-Saif won the “Favorite Athlete” award. In the “Martial Arts” category And when I went up to the stage to receive the award  She appeared barefoot, revealed that the heel of her shoe was broken, and thanked and greeted Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh for the award, amid applause from those present.

5. Mohamed Abdo and Andrea Bocelli share singing  In a precedent that is the first of its kind, and in a segment honoring the late poet Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen, “Arab Artist” participates The great singer Mohamed Abdo with the Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli, who also played the piano, and the ceremony witnessed honoring the great Italian star Andrea Bocelli for his artistic career, amid warm applause from the ceremony attendees.

 

The Joy Awards ceremony is considered one of the most important artistic events in the region, as it celebrates art and entertainment makers in the fields of cinema, drama, music, and sports, in addition to social influencers. The ceremony was broadcast live on social media channels. MBC1, MBC Egypt, MBC Iraq, MBC5, and the Shahid platform.

It is distinguished  that the public is the one who chooses the winners in the various basic specializations and their sub-categories, through naming and voting via the  JOY AWARDS application, which It allows the participant in the voting process to cast his vote for one candidate for each of the categories classified to receive awards, within six categories. Specialties are music, cinema, drama series, directors, sports, and influencers.
