Trading activity on the Bahrain Stock Exchange

The Bahrain General Index closed today at the level of 1,906.30, a decrease of 1.54 points from the previous closing rate, due to a decline in the index of the communications sector, the luxury consumer goods sector, the financial sector, and the real estate sector.

While the Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 763.44, an increase of 0.87 points from its previous closing rate.

The number of shares traded today reached 1,193,311 shares, with a total value of 305,494 Bahraini dinars, which were executed through 62 transactions.

Investors’ activity in trading was focused on financial sector shares, as the value of its traded shares amounted to 57.17% of the total value of securities traded.
