Taekwondo demands compensation from the Paralympic Committee for damages for intentional violation of sponsorship rights

The Board of Directors of the Egyptian Taekwondo Federation, headed by Counselor Mohamed Mostafa, took a decision to demand  the Egyptian Paralympic Committee, headed by Dr. Hossam El-Din Mostafa, for all compensation that resulted from the Paralympic Committee’s violation of the Egyptian Taekwondo Federation’s sponsorship rights granted to the largest institutions in Egypt

This came after the Paralympic Committee filmed an advertisement before the last Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, in which national team players appeared.

This is considered the first precedent of its kind for the Paralympic Committee to infringe on the marketing rights of the federation, deviating from its role in preserving these rights. Rights

The Federation had been addressed by the Paralympic Committee on August 4, 2024 with the need to delete the scene in which the parataekwondo players appear in order to preserve the sponsorship rights of the Federation, but the Paralympic Committee officials did not respond to these previous demands, which will Leading to a loss exceeding five million pounds for the Taekwondo Federation.
