Trump signs an order to postpone the TikTok ban for 75 days
US President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Monday giving TikTok 75 days to find a non-Chinese buyer in the United States, providing the app with a much-needed lifeline.
On Saturday, ByteDance, the Chinese company that owns TikTok, missed a deadline to sell its American branch to a non-Chinese buyer or face a ban in the United States.
