The Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation discusses with an Emirati delegation enhancing cooperation

Cairo, January 21 / WAM / Dr. Sameh Al-Hafni, Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation, and a delegation from the UAE headed by His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al-Salami, Chairman of the Fujairah Civil Aviation Department, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Civil Aviation Authority, and His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Linjawi, Director-General of the Dubai Authority, discussed Civil Aviation presented a number of important topics, most notably air navigation, infrastructure development mechanisms in the airport sector, and a review of development projects taking place in the various fields of civil aviation in Dubai. And Fujairah, in light of the distinguished fraternal relations between Egypt and the UAE.
A statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation stated that the meeting, which was held yesterday in Cairo, comes within the framework of strengthening strategic relations between the two brotherly countries, in a way that contributes to achieving common interests in the field of civil aviation.
During the meeting, the potential for enhancing cooperation prospects in the fields of training and exchange of experiences was highlighted, especially with the Air Navigation Training Center in Dubai, as well as organizing several specialized training programs based on the latest international technologies.
His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al-Salami stressed the importance of this fruitful meeting, which reflects the strength of the strong and extended bilateral relations that bind the two brotherly countries.
He expressed his appreciation for the Egyptian efforts in developing the civil aviation sector, stressing the UAE’s keenness to promote new horizons of cooperation with Egypt in various sectors in light of the unprecedented boom that the Egyptian state is witnessing during the current period, and its implementation of several integrated development projects at various levels.
For his part, Dr. Sameh Al-Hafni stressed the depth of the established relations between the UAE and Egypt, noting that the Ministry of Civil Aviation works according to an integrated strategy whose goals are based on improving infrastructure, enhancing technological innovation and sustainability aspects in various activities.
