المملكة: A national database to support social responsibility

The National Committee for Social Responsibility of the Federation of Saudi Chambers intends to build a national database for social responsibility.
This initiative aims to collect information about national companies interested in supporting social responsibility programs in various fields, including charitable, social, volunteer work, and environmental sustainability.

According to a letter issued by the Federation of Saudi Chambers, the database aims to benefit from the expertise and capabilities available to companies, coordinate efforts, and stimulate their contributions to social responsibility, in accordance with best global practices and applications.

The National Committee for Social Responsibility will work to develop a plan to communicate with companies and those interested in introducing its programs and services and the most important issues it supports. Invitations will also be sent to attend meetings and workshops related to social responsibility.
It is noteworthy that this initiative comes within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to achieve Vision 2030, which emphasizes the importance of enhancing the role of the private sector in sustainable development and building a vibrant, responsible society.
