Dubai International Chamber supports the expansion of local companies in Africa and Southeast Asia
DUBAI, 22nd JANUARY / WAM / Dubai International Chamber, one of the three chambers operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, organized the first of a series of events of the “Business Opportunities in Focus” initiative for the year 2025, in order to help companies operating in the emirate explore expansion opportunities in the markets of Angola, Mozambique, Thailand and the Philippines. , which is preparing to organize trade missions to them during the first half of 2025.
The event, which attracted 160 participants from representatives of the private sector in Dubai, reviewed the most important business opportunities and strategies for doing business in the four markets, in addition to discussing the reality and prospects of the commercial sectors in each of them.
Salem Al Shamsi, Vice President of International Relations at Dubai Chambers, said that the Chambers continue to support the business community in Dubai to expand into the most prominent global markets that are full of promising commercial and investment opportunities, by taking advantage of the integrated advantages that Dubai enjoys as a vital gateway to growth and building fruitful partnerships, which contributes to In enhancing Dubai’s foreign trade movement with various parts of the world, and supporting the growth and diversification of the emirate’s economy.
The session included a presentation on the efforts made by Dubai International Chamber to support the international expansion of Dubai companies, with a focus on business opportunities available in the markets of Angola, Mozambique, Thailand and the Philippines.
This was followed by an interactive dialogue session that discussed the promising trade and investment prospects in these markets.
Participants in these meetings receive information about the markets in which they are studying commercial and investment expansion, and provide appropriate recommendations throughout all stages of their external expansion, starting with providing market data and business guidelines, all the way to mechanisms for establishing companies and concluding joint projects.
The outcomes of the “Business Opportunities in Focus” event form the fulcrum of the “New Horizons for External Expansion” initiative program, which gives Dubai companies the opportunity to join trade missions organized by Dubai International Chamber to carefully selected foreign markets, and organize events and meetings in these markets with the aim of exploring investment opportunities and partnerships.
