The Minister of Industry discusses joint opportunities with international companies in 6 sectors

Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khorayef, during a series of bilateral meetings with a number of heads of international companies on the sidelines of his participation within the Kingdom’s delegation in the annual meeting of the forum, discussed joint opportunities in advanced industrial sectors.
The industries that the Minister of Industry discussed with international companies included: aviation, automobiles, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, and chemical industries, in addition to promising opportunities in the Saudi mining sector.

National strategy for industry

During the meetings, the most promising projects that the national strategy for industry is focusing on developing, as well as the Kingdom’s incentives and enablers, were reviewed. To enhance the attractiveness of the industrial investment environment.
The Minister discussed opportunities to transfer knowledge and innovation in the biotechnology, vaccine, and electric car industries, in line with the Kingdom’s ambitious plans to become a pivotal center in a number of advanced strategic industries.
Minister Al-Khorayef’s meetings included on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum; Meeting with the CEO of Royal Philips, the Vice President of Pfizer, the leading international pharmaceutical manufacturer, the CEO of InRide, the automobile manufacturer, the President of the mining company Tech Resources, in addition to the CEO of UPL. Indian, and president of Honeywell, a prominent aviation systems manufacturer.
