“Ashghal” intends to appoint a consulting company to expand the current Riffa Street

Yesterday, the Tenders and Auctions Board opened 4 tenders for government agencies, for which 26 bids were submitted, including a tender launched by the Ministry of Works to provide engineering consulting services with the aim of widening the current Riffa Street, for which 8 companies competed.
The Ministry intends to appoint an engineering consulting company with extensive international experience in road works, to prepare an integrated technical feasibility study for the expansion and development of the street, which is a double street with two lanes in each direction extending from the Clock Roundabout to Al-Maskar Street, but the street will be designed to have 4 lanes in each direction. direction at least.
The project includes converting the intersection of Al-Riffa Street and Al-Maskar Street into an intersection with separate levels, bridges and tunnels, and adding two bridges for reverse circulation at the intersections, in addition to 4 pedestrian bridges.
The concerned consultant will prepare a feasibility study and prepare the initial and detailed designs for the project, in addition to preparing the designs for the rainwater drainage network, including the accompanying buildings, lighting works, and traffic and directional signs, in addition to coordination from other service sectors, and providing assistance services regarding the project tender.
The Central Warehouses Department of the Electricity and Water Authority also issued a tender for the supply of 600 mm water pipes and their equipment. Two bids were submitted, the least of which amounted to 27 thousand dinars.
Meanwhile, government hospitals issued a tender for the attendance and control system (TAACS), for government hospitals and primary health care centers, and 13 bids competed for it, the lowest of which was 55 thousand dinars.
In addition, the General Sports Authority has issued a tender to develop the General Sports Authority’s systems and applications, with the aim of automating operations and enhancing electronic services for sports clubs, federations, coaches, gyms and academies in Bahrain. It includes a system for General Sports Authority employees to manage licenses, and a portal for users to access information and request services. , and a mobile application for inspection, where 3 bids were submitted, the least of which amounted to 297 thousand dinars.
