Places where fog spreads
Eastern Region: Jubail, Al-Khobar, Dammam, Qatif, Ras Tanura, Al-Ahsa, Al-Udayd, Abqaiq, Al-Khafji, Al-Nairiya, and Qaryat Al-Olayya.
Mecca: Adham, Maysan, Al-Shifa, Al-Hada, and Taif.
Asir: Al-Namas, Balqarn, Tanomah, Abha, Ahad Rufaidah, Al-Harjah, Al-Raboua, Khamis Mushayt, Sarat Ubaida, Dhahran Al-Janoub.
Jazan: Al-Harth, Al-Da’ir, Al-Rayth, Al-Arda, Al-Eidabi, Fifa, and Haroub.
Al-Baha: Al-Qaraa, Al-Mandaq, Al-Baha, Baljurashi, and Bani Hassan.
Unstable atmosphere
The Eastern Region and most regions of the Kingdom will witness an unstable weather condition during the coming days, and the National Center of Meteorology expects thunderstorms of varying intensity to include all governorates of the Eastern Region.
The amount of rain is expected to range between light and medium, and may reach heavy in some cities such as Hafar Al-Batin, Al-Olayya Village, Al-Nairyah, and Al-Khafji, especially next Sunday and Monday.
The weather condition also includes the governorates of Dammam, Al-Khobar, Qatif, Ras Tanura, Jubail, Abqaiq and Al-Ahsa, which will witness light rain during the same period.
Weather forecast for the week
The National Center of Meteorology issued a report regarding its forecasts about the weather condition that will affect most regions of the Kingdom during the period from Thursday, January 23, until Monday, January 27.
The Center expects thunderstorms of varying intensity between light, medium and heavy in a number of regions and governorates, which requires taking caution and following the instructions issued by the competent authorities.
The Makkah Al-Mukarramah region is witnessing thunderstorms, including Al-Laith and Al-Qunfudhah Governorates, with moderate to heavy amounts during Saturday and Sunday, within the period extending from Thursday, January 23, until Monday, January 27, with separate time periods.
