The General Authority of Civil Aviation, the future of the sector and its role in supporting innovation and investment, in its participation in the “Saudi House” initiative within the activities of the annual meeting of the 2025 World Economic Forum, which will be held from January 20 to 24 in Davos, Switzerland.
The authority dealt with its efforts and its endeavor to convert the civil aviation sector into an engine for innovation, sustainability and economic growth, for the Kingdom and the world; What strengthens the leadership role of the Kingdom on the international scene.

Civil aviation in the Kingdom

I touched on investment opportunities through the projects and incentives provided by the civil aviation sector in the Kingdom, in addition to enhancing the status of aviation as a main engine and supporter within the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, by presenting the achievements of the aviation sector strategy and its transformation on the global scene, in addition to unprecedented investment opportunities in the Kingdom, It was launched by the strategy aimed at consolidating the position of the Kingdom’s aviation sector as an assistant worker for economic growth.

It shed light on the latest developments in major projects in the civil aviation sector in the Kingdom, such as King Salman International Airport in Riyadh, which contains six runways, in addition to partnerships between the public and private sectors to allocate and develop the airports of Abha, Taif, Hail and Qassim International, in addition to a review of a number of opportunities Investment in the shipping and logistical services sectors, advanced air mobility, commercial aviation, and the empowerment of the tourism and business sectors, because of their prominent role in the Kingdom’s economy, by launching the public aviation road map; In order to provide advanced infrastructure, new aircraft, and to provide more advanced services.

During its participation, the authority dealt with the general aviation road map; And its contribution to increasing the gross domestic product significantly; In order to achieve growth for ten times to reach two billion dollars by 2030, and direct the future sector by adopting initiatives and programs to support private aviation; With the aim of attracting investors, operators, manufacturers and global service providers in the sector, to enhance the Kingdom’s position as a center for public aviation, and to align infrastructure planning and organizational regulations throughout the sector.
The “Saudi House” initiative reflects the growing role of the Kingdom on the international scene and its effective impact, as a platform linking entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and innovators to offer strategic visions on the most important areas that constitute the future of our world.
