3 main health centers
The Grand Mosque area also includes 3 main health centers equipped to serve the pilgrims around the clock at Ajyad Hospital, which has an intensive care department and a laboratory to conduct the necessary laboratory tests.
In addition to the pharmacy, where all medicines are available, and Al-Haram Hospital, which is located on the northern side of the Grand Mosque in front of King Abdullah Gate, and provides urgent medical services to the guests of God.
In addition to 3 emergency centers inside the Grand Mosque, stationed in the corridors of the Grand Mosque, providing emergency medical service to all visitors to the Holy House of God, including guests of the Most Merciful.
Cardiac resuscitation devices
The Saudi Red Crescent Authority, in cooperation with the Authority for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, provides a number of cardiac resuscitation devices (AED), which directly contribute to increasing the chances of survival in cases of cardiac and respiratory arrest, by providing a regular electrical current to the heart, in order to restore the normal pulse pattern.

There are many of these devices available, 5 of which are distributed at the main gates of the Grand Mosque, 5 devices at the Mataf, and 5 devices in the third Saudi expansion.
Instructions for using devices
The Holy Mosques Care Authority explained that the instructions for using these devices, according to the directions of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, are to open the device and turn it on with the green laser, place the electrodes in the places indicated on them, follow the audio and digital instructions shown on the screen, and administer the shock with the green laser.
As part of its complementary role, in cooperation with the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Health Assembly begins providing primary, health and awareness care to the guests of God, in a way that contributes to providing high-quality health services to those visiting the Holy House of God.
The General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques also integrates with the Ministry of Health in providing various awareness initiatives in order to preserve the health and safety of the pilgrims.
