Under the patronage of the Crown Prince of Fujairah…the conclusion of the 6th edition of the Arab Taekwondo Cup and the crowning of champions

FUJAIRAH, 11TH FEBRUARY/WAM/ Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, the competitions of the sixth edition of the Arab Taekwondo Cup were concluded, bidding farewell to the Emirate of Fujairah’s heroes and heroines after a conclusion full of coronations and achievements.
The G1 tournament was held in the Zayed Sports Complex hall, and on its last day, it witnessed a strong competitive atmosphere with the participation of an elite group of male and female players from Arab countries in the male and female junior category, amidst a crowd that enjoyed the distinguished performance and decisive fights that decided the medal race.
The results of the final day in the male category and in the weight category under 33 kg resulted in Saudi Khaled Asiri winning the gold medal.
While Mishari Al-Qayasi (Saudi Arabia) won the silver, and the bronze was won by Saif Walid (Oman) and Sultan Suleiman (UAE), with a weight of under 37 kg.
Gold was won by Nofal Al-Awfi (Oman), silver was won by Taimour Al-Habsi (Oman), and bronze was won by Abdulaziz Al-Sirafi (Kuwait) and Nabil Qanitri (Lebanon).
In the under 41 kg weight, Moayed Tamim (UAE) won the gold, Khalid Al Haddi (Bahrain) took the silver, Ahmed Al Harithi and Tawfiq Al Balushi (Oman) took the bronze, and in the under 45 kg weight, Omar Al Buraiki (Bahrain) won the gold, Yamen Abu Amoud (Jordan), the silver, Ahmed Zidan (UAE) and Ralph Sharabati (Lebanon) won the bronze.
In the under 49 kg category, Osama Al-Yazidi (Yemen) won the gold, the silver was won by Malik Lotfy (Egypt), and the bronze was won by Melanie Soleimani (UAE) and Youssef Al-Aboudi (Qatar).
In the under 53 kg weight, Grace Khoury (Lebanon) won the gold, Ayouz Cruz (Qatar) took the silver, Abdullah Zia (Qatar) and Abdel Rahman Al Rashidi (Tunisia) took the bronze, and in the under 57 kg weight, Majed Abu Shabana (Jordan) won the gold, and Hamdi Yasini (Tunisia) won the silver.
The bronze medal went to Hisham Mahmoud (Qatar) and Salah Al-Din Al-Washah (Jordan).
In the under 61 kg category, Eid Al Majed (Saudi Arabia), silver, Sanad Rahal (Jordan), and bronze, Adam Yasser and Omar Louay (UAE) won.
In the under 65 kg category, the gold was won by Muhammad Al-Husseini (Egypt), the silver was won by Osama Abu Amoud (Jordan), and the bronze was won by Yamen Mustafa and Abdullah Al-Balushi (UAE).
In the over 65 kg competition, the gold was won by Sahand Shams Al-Din (Iraq), the silver was won by Karam Al-Taani (Jordan), and the bronze was won by: Ibrahim Muhammad and Ayman Al-Sayed (UAE).
In the female category, under 29 kg, Reem Youssef (UAE) won gold, Salma Damiri won silver, and Afra Al-Balushi and Hamda Khaled (UAE) won bronze.
In the under 33 kg category, Sarah Al Zaatari (Jordan), silver, Alia Al-Saridi (UAE), and bronze were won by Fatima Mustafa and Shouq Al-Hinai (UAE).
In the under 37 kg category, Aliaa Al-Manasir (Jordan) won gold, Sarah Al-Faroukh (Jordan) took silver, Rital Mohammed (UAE) and Jana Abboud (Lebanon) took bronze.
In the under 41 kg category, Maria Al Ansari (UAE) won gold, Malak Al Kantari (Morocco) silver, Raghad Saleh (UAE) and Mira Arabiyat (Jordan) won bronze.
In the under 44 kg category, Azza Osama (UAE) won gold, Bisan Khalil (Jordan) silver, Iman Bin Thani (Bahrain) and Yara Al-Bunduq (Palestine) won bronze.
In the under 47 kg category, Rital Ghazi (UAE) won gold, Ruqaya Al Amrani (Morocco) silver, Tala Abd Rabbo (Jordan) and Majda Al Ketbi (UAE) won bronze.
In the under 51 kg category, Asmaa Al Zayani (Morocco) won gold, Salha Saad (UAE) won silver, and Maryam Medhat (Saudi Arabia) and Yasmine Shehata (Egypt) won bronze.
In the under 55 kg category, Sophia Tohme (Lebanon) won gold, Rania Al Nuaimi (UAE) silver, Amina Al Osta (Kuwait) and Afnan Al Ferjani (Jordan) won bronze.
In the under 59 kg category, Jana Hosni (Egypt) won gold, Rital Abdel Latif (UAE) silver, and Leen Al Awad (Jordan) and Maryam Jassim (UAE) bronze.
In the weight category over 59 kg, Bana Melhem (Jordan) won gold, Fatima Saad (UAE) won silver, and Amira Abdel-Rihan and Khadija Jamal (UAE) won bronze.
Thus, the curtain came down on the 6th edition of the Arab Taekwondo Cup, which confirmed Fujairah’s status as a prominent Arab sports station for hosting major continental and international tournaments.
