Davos, 24 January / WAM / Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairwoman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, met with Darren Tang, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), as part of the activities of the 55th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. .
The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between the UAE and WIPO to develop the intellectual property system and support innovation and creativity as basic pillars for achieving sustainable growth.
During the meeting, Her Highness Sheikha Latifa affirmed the UAE’s commitment to developing an advanced framework for intellectual property, in line with global best practices, to support its ambitions to build a thriving system of innovation and creativity.
